The DFW Tejanos 90 boys claimed the 2007 Plano Labor Day Under 19 Gold Championship Monday with a 2-0 win over Comets.
The boys ran through the tournament putting together nearly 5 hours straight of soccer without giving up a goal.
In the semifinal a pair of goals from Tanner Overstreet led the team to a 2-0 win over ASG.
The final was a real treat as it was played in the Pizza Hut Park Stadium.
The boys used the huge field to their advantage and held the majority of possession against the Comets.
A 15th minute goal from Guy Bigot off an assist from Alex Reyna opened the scoring.
Just 10 minutes later Gary Grossman headed home a cross to give the boys a 2-0 lead at the half.
The 2nd half was more a game of keepaway as the Tejanos held the ball and made Comets chase.
